Responsibilities
  • Cash Management & Liquidity Planning: Planning, controlling, and monitoring cash flows and liquidity positions
  • Financing: Supporting the structuring, execution, and administration of financing instruments (e.g., loans, bonds, leasing, derivatives)
  • Risk Management: Identifying and assessing interest rate, currency, and credit risks, and implementing appropriate hedging strategies
  • Treasury Systems & Data Analysis: Using and further developing treasury management systems (e.g., SAP TRM); analyzing financial data and preparing forecasts and scenario analyses
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborating with banks, subsidiaries, and internal departments; serving as a central point of contact for treasury-related matters
  • Trade Finance: Handling guarantees, letters of credit, and other international trade finance instruments
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., EMIR, MiFID II) and supporting internal financial reporting
Qualifications
  • A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable field; alternatively, a relevant banking qualification with further training in Treasury
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in Treasury, Cash Management, or Finance – ideally in an international environment
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in liquidity planning, cash management, and financing instruments (e.g. loans, bonds, derivatives), combined with a solid understanding of capital markets and financial products
  • Ability to prepare liquidity forecasts and scenario analyses
  • Familiarity with treasury management systems (e.g. SAP TRM, Kyriba etc.)
  • Sound knowledge of risk management (interest rate, currency, and credit risks)
  • Knowledge of trade finance (e.g. bank guarantees, letters of credit) and experience working with data providers (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters)
  • Awareness of regulatory requirements (e.g. EMIR, MiFID II) or certification as a Certified Corporate Treasurer (CCT)
  • Advanced Excel skills (VBA a plus but not required) and experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
  • Strong financial mathematics skills and analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, as well as team spirit and initiative

Compensation

Minimum collective salary
63.154,28 €

75.000,00 €

We would like to point out that the collective agreement minimum salary in the attractive metal craft collective agreement is € 53.330,06 gross per year. The actual salary ranges between € 63,000.00 and € 77,000.00 gross per year and will be determined together with you according to your qualifications and experience.
