Intro
In this position within the ZAUNERGROUP, you will take on a key role as part of the tax team within the finance department, contributing to the further development and professionalization of our international tax structures. Due to our increasing international project and group activities, tax complexity is also growing — this is exactly where you come in, applying your expertise effectively. This role offers you significant scope for creativity, responsibility, and development opportunities, with the clear goal of creating sustainable relief, building knowledge, and positioning our organization securely for future growth from a tax perspective.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the determination of permanent establishment results abroad
  • Ongoing coordination with foreign tax advisors and internal interfaces
  • Act as an internal and external contact for tax-related questions, particularly in the areas of VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax
  • Execution and coordination of tax filings domestically and internationally (e.g. construction withholding tax)
  • Support during domestic and international tax audits
  • After appropriate onboarding by experienced colleagues: independently handle ongoing tax matters and provide selective support to adjacent areas (e.g. accounting, if required)
Qualifications
  • Completed business education (e.g. secondary school diploma or degree from a university or university of applied sciences) with a focus on taxation, accounting, or finance
  • At least 3–4 years of professional experience in international tax law
  • Experience across multiple tax types (VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax) is an advantage; however, we also welcome candidates specialized in a single tax area
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, a structured and independent working style, and a high sense of responsibility
  • Team player with a willingness to learn and an interest in developing further in an international tax environment
  • Very good English skills for daily communication within the group and with external partners

Compensation

Minimum collective salary
3.654,05 €

4.000,00 €

4.800,00 €
We would like to point out that the collective agreement minimum salary in the attractive metal industry collective agreement is € 3,654.05 gross per month. The actual salary ranges between € 4,000 and € 4,800 gross per month, depending on your experience and qualifications, and will be determined together with you.
