Intro
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated individual as a Senior Project Technician in project execution within the data center sector. In this role, you will support our project, installation, and site management in the technical and organizational implementation of demanding projects and take responsibility for work preparation as well as technical project documentation.
Responsibilities
  • Contributing to technical bid preparation and the execution of projects in the data center sector (piping and HVAC)
  • Independently handling work packages in planning, work preparation, material management, scheduling, qualification, as well as order and installation coordination
  • Coordinating and managing inquiries with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
  • Creating and maintaining lists and documentation for technical project control
  • Preparing and managing deviation reports (RFIs – Requests for Information)
  • Developing technical solution proposals for client approval
  • Preparing flushing and commissioning procedures
  • Preparing and managing site and project documentation
  • Supporting project, installation, and site management in technical as well as commercial matters
Qualifications
  • Completed technical education (technical college or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, installation technology, industrial engineering, or process engineering
  • Several years of experience in project execution in plant or piping construction is an advantage
  • Very good IT skills (MS Office, AutoCAD; ideally also MicroStation or other CAD programs)
  • Structured, self-reliant working style combined with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Confident demeanor with strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30%)
  • Driver’s license (Category B)

Minimum collective salary

We would like to point out that the collectively agreed minimum salary under the attractive collective agreement for the metal industry amounts to € 49,852.32 gross per year. The actual salary ranges between € 49,000.00 and € 60,000.00 gross per year and will be determined together with you. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will receive an attractive expatriation compensation package with additional financial and material benefits for your assignment abroad.
