Do quality, precision, and the highest standards define your way of working? As a QA/QC Engineer, you will support our life science plant construction projects directly on site. With your expertise in quality management, welding supervision, and GMP-compliant documentation you will ensure that our projects are executed in compliance with applicable standards, reliably, and at the highest quality level. Responsibilities
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards on construction sites
  • Perform and document quality inspections in plant construction and piping projects, particularly within the life sciences sector
  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation in accordance with project requirements, customer specifications, and GMP guidelines
  • Fulfill welding coordination responsibilities in accordance with EN ISO 14731
  • Coordinate inspections, tests, and acceptance activities with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Develop quality plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures
  • Track deviations and non-conformities (NCRs) and support the implementation of corrective actions
  • Participate in pressure testing, inspections, and commissioning activities
  • Work closely with project management, site management, and the central quality department
Qualifications
  • Completed technical education (technical college, university of applied sciences, or university degree) in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, process engineering, or a related field
  • Ideally certified as a welding supervisor/coordinator (IWS, IWT, IWE, or equivalent)
  • Qualification in Visual Testing (VT) Level 2 for non-destructive testing is an advantage
  • Several years of experience in QA/QC within plant construction, piping construction, or large-scale industrial projects, preferably in the life sciences sector and with ASME BPE standards
  • Knowledge of relevant quality standards, inspection methods, and documentation requirements (GMP)
  • Experience with technical documentation, inspection records, and inspection processes
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and self-motivated working style
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to assert quality requirements on construction sites
  • Excellent German language skills and good English language skills

Compensation

Minimum collective salary
3.109,21 €

4.000,00 €

4.500,00 €
Please note that the collective agreement minimum salary under the attractive Austrian Metal Industry Collective Agreement amounts to € 3.109,21 gross per month. The actual salary will be determined based on your qualifications and professional experience and typically ranges between € 4.000 and € 4.500 gross per month.
