Intro
ZAUNERGROUP delivers complex plant engineering and installation projects in Austria and obroad. To ensure the professional management of our national and international workforce resources, we are looking for an experienced leadership personality to take on the role of Lead Workforce Management. In this position, you will ensure the efficient, legally compliant and cost-conscious provision of internal and external personnel for our construction sites and thus make a key contribution to the successful execution of our projects.
Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for the recruitment, deployment planning and scheduling of internal and external construction site personnel in Austria and abroad
  • Leadership, management and continuous development of the Workforce Management team
  • Acting as a key interface and coordination partner for site and project management to ensure the smooth and needs‑based deployment of construction management functions and key resources
  • Active involvement in operational and strategic installation and resource planning in close coordination with project, installation and site management
  • Responsibility for the operational personnel administration of the company’s own blue‑collar workforce
  • Ensuring compliance with labour law, foreign employment regulations and all relevant compliance requirements at national and international level
  • Establishment and further development of a transparent reporting system on workforce levels, capacities and availability
  • Responsibility for cost monitoring, personnel cost transparency and ongoing control of personnel expenses
  • Central point of contact for internal and external partners as well as for audits and inspections relating to construction site personnel
Qualifications
  • Completed commercial education (apprenticeship, secondary school diploma or university degree), ideally with a focus on HR, business administration or organisation
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in personnel deployment, workforce management or temporary employment services, preferably in a project‑ or construction‑site‑driven environment
  • Industry experience in plant engineering, installation or international project business is an advantage
  • Strong professional expertise in foreign employment regulations, temporary employment law, labour law and the handling of service and work contracts
  • Experience in commercial management, particularly in cost calculation, cost monitoring and negotiations with internal and external partners
  • Proven leadership skills, including experience in leading and developing employees and identifying development potential and training needs
  • Confident and professional demeanour, a high level of personal responsibility and an entrepreneurial mindset in a dynamic, international environment
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, and a willingness to travel
  • Confident use of MS Office applications and a structured, analytical working style

Compensation

Minimum collective salary
54.503,26 €

75.000,00 €

90.000,00 €
We would like to point out that the collective agreement minimum salary under the attractive Metal Craft Collective Agreement is EUR 54.503,26 gross per year. The actual salary will be agreed with you individually and lies within a range of EUR 75.000 to EUR 90.000 gross per year, depending on qualification and experience. In addition to an attractive salary package, company car for private use will be provided.
