Responsibilities
  • Carrying out plant and detailed engineering design in accordance with project requirements and project management specifications
  • Preparing construction drawings, plant layouts, equipment arrangement drawings, and piping plans
  • Creating detailed designs, bill of materials (BOMs), and material take-offs
  • Ensuring that designs meet process engineering requirements through close coordination with the process engineering team
  • Utilizing computer-aided design and engineering tools to support the design process
  • Reviewing and verifying both supplied and internally generated engineering documents and drawings
  • Coordinating interfaces between disciplines, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure seamless project execution
Qualifications
  • Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (technical college, university of applied sciences, or university degree) or training as a Technical Draftsperson/Designer
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Project experience in plant engineering and piping design/construction
  • Basic knowledge of process engineering
  • CAD training and experience (e.g., AutoCAD, E3D)
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
  • Administrative experience is an advantage, but not required
  • Solid IT skills and good command of English
  • Willingness to travel (less than 15%)

Compensation

Minimum collective salary
2.918,34 €

3.500,00 €

4.200,00 €
Please note that the collective agreement minimum salary under the attractive Austrian Metal Industry Collective Agreement amounts to € 2.918.34 gross per month. The actual salary will be determined based on your qualifications and professional experience and typically ranges between € 3.500 and € 4.200 gross per month.
