Intro
As a Bid Engineer at Zaunergroup, you will play a key role in preparing competitive offers and supporting the commercial project execution – particularly in international projects within the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on piping construction. You will combine technical expertise with commercial know-how and act as the first point of contact throughout the bidding process.
Responsibilities
  • Independent processing of international tenders and customer inquiries in the field of pharmaceutical piping projects
  • Preparation of comprehensive proposal documents: cover letters, presentations, implementation concepts
  • Cost estimation and calculation for project offers
  • Representing Zaunergroup during the bidding process: acting as first point of contact for customers, handling correspondence, conducting technical and commercial discussions, supporting contract negotiations
  • Conducting supplier negotiations and close cooperation with internal departments (e.g., Engineering, Procurement, Controlling)
  • Supporting commercial project execution of ongoing projects during periods with fewer bidding activities
Qualifications
  • Completed technical education (e.g., HTL, University of Applied Sciences, or equivalent)
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in project execution as an engineer or project manager, ideally in piping construction
  • Strong English skills in written and spoken communication
  • Strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills
  • Structured way of working and high level of initiative
  • This role is especially attractive for senior engineers and experienced project managers who are looking for a position with significantly less travel

Minimum collective salary

65.000,00 €
We would like to point out that the minimum annual gross salary under the collective agreement for the metal industry is € 63,154.28. The actual salary lies within a range of € 65,000 to € 85,000 gross per year and will be determined together with you based on your experience and qualifications. With proven project management experience, further overpayment is possible.
